Grrr's World of Music intends to create a network of gifted, experienced, professional musicians to nurture advise, tutor and inspire our students.

We do hope you will take the opportunity to become involved with us. We are currently recruiting one to one tutors for all disciplines and Early years teachers (Kindermusik or similar).

Teaching for Grrr's World of Music

Becoming a teacher with Grrr's World of Music is an excellent way to enhance your skills, and gain experience, students, and friends all while earning. Our teaching system is very flexible, you can work when and where is best for you and the student, and can take on as much or as little as you like.

Support

The network enables you to contact other Grrr's World of Music teachers and professional musicians for advice and information.

Grrr's World of Music take care of all the time consuming administration concerning your teaching and/or performing allowing you to be completely free to do what you do best!

Resources

We provide all necessary stationery such as practice books, lesson plans, and registers.

Promotion

  • Mail shots and local advertising

Benefits

We work solely to fill up your quota of students before taking on any additional teachers of your discipline in your area.

We guarantee payment for 40 lessons or the year (4 more than most music services)

Essential skills & qualifications:

  • A high level of practical ability
  • A good knowledge of all music styles
  • A good understanding of the theory of Music
  • Experience as a working musician
  • Excellent communication skills

Desirable skills & qualifications:

  • Teaching experience
  • Qualifications in music performance and/or teaching. (A levels, BTEC, HND, Degree ABRSM/Trinity Graded & Diploma certificates from a recognised examining board)

Teachers must be willing to obtain:

  • A current Enhanced CRB certificate
  • Public Liability Insurance
  • A Grrr's World of Music teacher is classed as a Freelance Musician and is therefore responsible for their own tax and National Insurance contributions.

A Grrr's World of Music teacher will need:

  • Their chosen instrument
  • E-mail facility
  • Music stand and CD player
